We should know who has an event planned for Saturday by Wednesday and we’ll add the information to the sign-up section on the Forum.
You can find them in the Game Signups.
We hope you liked the morning scenario this week. Now prepare for the first full milsim of 2013. Six hours of continuous scenario play. You will need to remember your GMRS-capable radio, red kill-rag, and in-game lunch kit for this event.
We are going to heavily shuffle the teams for this event. All local teams that participate will be shuffled into the game teams using a random draw method. At most, buddy pairs will be allowed to stick together only. All large groups will be separated and shuffled into the game teams to help distribute experience among the teams.
Start the 2013 spring season off with a new sim game concept that challenges you; focussing on balancing game flow and burnout.
Big scenario game planned for tomorrow morning session that will make for a late lunch break so eat a big breakfast or bring a power bar on the field cause it’s going to kick ass. If you aren’t signed up already, sign up immediately so we can get teams organized.
Show up on time (0900). If you do not attend the safety meeting you will not be playing the sim in the morning. Four volunteers (2 per team) are needed for minor command roles, these roles will not effect how many bb’s you throw down range but will help your team be losers or winners.
Radios and kill rags are absolutely essential this week. Remember that your radio must be able to receive and transmit GMRS channels at 1 W so you can communicate with your team.
At the last administration meeting, we chose the 5 finalists you will vote on for the LMAG crest. We’ll post the poll soon on the forum. We also reviewed some important operating issues.
Among the operating issues, was our dues and fees. These fees are in addition to the field use fee that Panther charges and we will collect these ourselves. For each game day, players will pay $2 to cover LMAG expenses relating to running the games. Advance sign-up is important for planning, so players who fail to sign up will pay an additional $2 penalty. LMAG is offering players a first year introductory membership dues of $20.
During this first year as we transition from BCAC and Op-For, your membership dues will only eliminate the daily $2 fee and earn you a modest discount at LMAG milsims. For next year, we plan to have our membership kits at similar content to what you are familiar with from BCAC and Op-For.
So, please bring your $2 to play each day. We’ll post up details about membership soon. And remember to tell your other friends that players that don’t sign up will be charged an additional $2.
See you Saturday!
