Wounded
Back to Game Mechanics
Concept: Keep "hit" players with squad until the squad finishes the firefight or retreats. Once clear, give squad option of going back to respawn wounded players.

I've been thinking about this a lot...
WARNING RANDOM BABBLING ABOUT IDEA AHEAD
So, what if we make the squad worry about casualties? As in, if somebody is hit the medic has to stabilize them so that they can fight, but they have a limp or can't use where they got hit? Then, when the fighting was over, the squad would choose to continue on with the wounded or take them back to respawn to get patched up? It allows for the aspect of keeping your teammates alive while worrying about the injured in the squad. This would also make for less run and gun type players and adding a new twist to the medic rules.
I think fighting out the current battle and taking wounds is the way to go. I also think that there should be a fall back point so that teams can carry or assist the wounded to the fall back point and stay there for 5 mins, re load get water chill and then get back in the fight. It would simulate a more realistic feel. May they have to fight it out and stay there till a predetermined squad comes to aid them simulating medvac ect ect. Just some ideas I'm sure we can make work at an event some time I'll work on some rules for it so it will be smooth and then i'll submit it and who ever wants can use it

I played a game just like airsoft for about 13 years only it was done with combat from a different era that implements the hit location style shot chart and effects. When someone starts a game or an event for their first time its just very important to let them know very clearly how stuff works and it takes some people a few hours to get it and some get it right away. I think it is throwing a curve ball to some people just on grounds of not every tool in the shed is maintained and sharp "" Would be alot of fun to try I think a couple times I'll work on something that will make the process of relating the rules clearly and simplistically.
