Mission Summary

Two teams will compete to capture and hold two flags. Yellow and Orange banners will fly at the base of the winner. CAPTURE THE FLAG!

The North team will occupy and defend the Northern HQ at grid coordinates 454607. The South team will occupy and defend the Swamp HQ at grid coordinates 200200.

You will identify your teammates by the armband they wear! So look sharp as the camo your enemies wear may be the same as your friends.

Primary Objective

Capture your Opponent's flag, bring it back to your base (flag flying) and hold it there in plain sight for 20 minutes. Contact Admin (FRS/GMRS Channel 1-0) when you possess both your flag and your opponent's flag at your base. Admin will start the timer to count down your 20 mins. The timer will stop if you lose either flag. To help everyone, lean your captured flag on the side of your base facing your opponent's base.

During transport, the carrier must visibly display the captured flag-- it must be waving. When shot, the carrier will drop the flag at that location for further capture or retrieval.

Secondary Objective

Disrupt your opponent's ability to respawn near your base. FIVE (5) switchable forward respawns are located throughout the field. They will help your opponent to capture your flag. Grid coordinates are:

  • 400408
  • 253505
  • 350650
  • 450357
  • 256302

Common names are:

  • Capri base (grid square F6)
  • Fort (grid square C4)
  • Harvest Bunker (grid square G5)
  • VW's spot (B1, grid square E10)
  • Spetsnaz (A8, grid square F2)

To capture a Forward Re-spawn position, simply have your team's colour displayed on the flagpole.

Respawn and Medics

Respawns will only take effect once every 5 minutes on the clock's 5-minute marks: 0005, 0010, 0015, 0020... etc. at the Bases and at the Forward Respawn Sites. If enemy players are making a bid for the flag and are within 60 ft of the base, the base respawn is unavailable.

Medics will be available at the Commander's discretion at a medic/player ratio of either 1/10 or 1/5. Players can choose to Bleed Out for a medic or outright respawn. Medics can save anyone, including medics and players waiting to respawn. Medic treatment is a two hand touch to the player's torso lasting 30 seconds.

Rank and Role Identifiers

Armbands will indicate a Players' team affilition and identify Medics. Medic markers will be on the right arm: 1 red band and 1 white band.

As per club practice, the half-inch team-marker armbands will be worn on both arms.

Final Notes

  1. All players signing up must indicate their name (including every guest).
  2. A time limit will be enforced to end the game at either 1430 or 1500. Come early and get yourself set for an intense and focussed game. Game ON!
