Anti-Reflection Device AKA Killflash

Post2014-01-19 / 06:12 UTC GMT +00:00

Hi,

So I'm not sure if this is supposed to go in the buy/sell or tech corner so feel free to move it to the correct forum. I was wondering where players bought their anti-reflection devices (ARDs) that they put on their optics to a) protect them from BBs damaging their lenses and b) reduce the amount of light reflected back from the objective lens so that it is harder to spot. I looked on a couple Canadian and US airsoft sites but they don't seem to have much in terms of ARDs. There are a couple articles online about making your own real steel ARD but not that many about ARDs geared towards airsoft (that will prevent damage from BBs as opposed to just reducing chances of being spotted). Do any of you make your own ARDs or know where to buy ones for airsoft?

Thanks :)

Thanks guys, I'll try those sites. The ARD would be for a 40mm objective lens for a variable powered scope.

Just saw some of units at Trigger last Saturday (Shopping for Parts) but I do not remember the price.
