Thank you for that Jethro. As posted above, you should have a family member/ relative to be a able to vouch for you, should anything happen on the field.

I see your point and it is a good one, but the only problem is that my dad does not want to play, although he is quite familliar with the sport. I have played with you guys and bellator before although i would consider myself a "new player." He would be near the field as he always keeps himself close in case of an emergency. Would it help if i said that i always have my cell phone on me when playing in case of an emergency? He would also spend the first hour or so at the field, then go do errands for about an hour or 2 and then come back. If that is not ok, would it be possible for him not to play? He would be willing to stay at the field but he just doesnt really want to play.

As you can see, we have put up the rules, and this is not just for you but for all under 16 players. Considering the guns boxes say "not to be sold to anyone under the age of 18" we are being very accommodating. If something happened would you want to see our club get shut down and possibly sued because we were not responsible?

Very true, i would not like to see anyone hurt or the club shut down ill try to convince my dad to play.

The parent of an underage player doesn't have to play, they just need to remain close enough (20 to 40 feet) to the underage player to supervise them and maintain their own comfort level of the risks their child takes.

While parents can wander around the forest following their child or encouraging them, the parent may find participating more fun. Since people on the field exist "outside" of the official game space, they are prohibited from pointing out enemies or giving specific instructions.

Experienced admins and field marshals have scope to coach players without participating. This kind of behaviour also excludes pointing out enemies or giving specific instructions. Usually coaching consists of convincing the player to get closer, move faster, or use particular techniques; essentially reminding the player of things they should already be doing.

So the parent may find participating as the fire buddy to their underage player a better option than just hanging around in the forest.
