JNasty, how long have you had your C-TAC for? what upgrades have you had to do and where did you get it?

go to the tech corner, read up on pistons and make your decision

if you dont know what you are doing inside the gearbox DO NOT attempt to install a piston yourself.

One really important thing to note is that while those two guns do look like VFC's rebranded by CTAC, not all CTAC rifles are made by mid-high end companies. C-TAC is a rebranding company really, they use multiple different manufacturers and the quality varies A LOT by which model you look at.
(not completely related to the guns the OP was looking at but I thought it should be mentioned in case someone else reads this and thinks all C-TAC guns are high quality)
VFC Noveske M4 - Echo1 Platinum M16 - G&G Top Tech RK47 - Ares Stoner LMG
TM MK23 Socom - KJW Glock 23 - KJW P226

I have done some more research and I am leaning away from the C-Tac rifle, instead i think i am going to get the VFC KAC SR15 E3 IWS. Which is the same thing but about 50 bucks cheaper and has some nice Knights Armaments markings. I checked out a vfc and g&g today and I would have to say I like the externals of the vfc a lot better. Internals I will have to learn as I go. Thanks for the help and feedback guys.

I have the VFC SR15E3IW Combat Master 11.5", and I can say without any hesitations that you are going to love it. I've had it for two years now with pretty much no issues, and I am still not bored of it (I was getting a little bored of it earlier this year, then I gave it a snake skin paint job). My favorite feature about it (besides the RIS and markings) is the 11.5'' barrel. If you wanna toss in a 368mm tight bore in it, all you would have to do is buy a mock suppressor, and not only does the rifle look pretty bad ass, but you now have a standard M4 length tight bore in a CQB style weapon. Also, the KAC URXII RIS system is great. You have so much real estate to place what ever types of optics, grips, and accessories you want to on it. Like said previously though, when you buy it, purchase a decent piston with it as well, because VFC stock pistons don't seem to last too long. But other then that, it is the perfect all-around rifle. Buy the right accessories, and your rifle will be ready for any type of mission or fight.
