CQB at RIP is hosted by Airsoft Gear. You will find the sign-ups n their forum.

330fps is low but still hurt when you get hit especially at close range. My rifle was only shooting 240fps, lol but enough to reach the other end of the room. But I abandoned it and used pistol only. Pistol + the SWAT shield was awesome. Feels like I was some kind of DEA agent busting dd.

before i had my masada with the quick spring change feature, i had to rent a gun from optix for CQB. he handed me a m4 that chrono'd 212fps with .25 bb. it shot straight flat and true. i had a blast dominating the field with that rifle.

i can honestly say that my time at RIP has been very fun. I can also say that i have expierienced more physical pain from bb's in one night of CQB then 5 games playing outdoors. 330FPS hurts like hell from 15ft away.

OMG, you can use a swat shield? I need to try this....
VFC Noveske M4 - Echo1 Platinum M16 - G&G Top Tech RK47 - Ares Stoner LMG
TM MK23 Socom - KJW Glock 23 - KJW P226

I just find it strange that our laws say that Airsoft guns have to shot above 366 but RIP has a 330 limit.

The beauty of indoor cqb is you can be just as effective with a pistol than a AEG.

You don't need a AEG to be competitive

When your playing your first game and the bb's are smashing into the wall next to you from a guy trying to shoot you from five feet away you will appreciate the 330 fps limit. Like Gunny said it hurts.
I took a five shot shotgun load to the neck which dropped me and then a few minutes later Haircut shot me from the second floor on the top of my head which hurt like a bugger.

I don't play indoor much but when I've lost any kind of adrenaline rush from outdoor field play an indoor CQB game with low light in a building full of echo's will get my heart pumping again.

Oh and I agree with Pinoy that all you need is a pistol although a gun with a tracer unit would be sick.

Im not saying the 330fps is wrong..its our laws are not inline with the sport. They set a limits that the law figures is safe but 499....really. I dont get the 366 lower end and anything below is a replica. Down in the US their CQB are 300 and below. I guess we are all suppose to run around with plastic pea shooters like when we were kids.

Alright, I had to make a short clip of my last indoor game @ RIP. I think this short clip summarizes everything you would expect when playing CQB .... from fun, fun, fun, really lots of fun, very intense, safety etc etc. My fourth kill (Whiskey) had no face protection and I had no idea he was around the corner. I accidentally shot him in the cheek and he got a pretty bleeder. You just have to protect yourself at all times by having proper gear. I forgot to bring my gloves and that caused me welt and bleeder in the finger as well. Lots of close range engagement but that's CQB. Everyone enjoys it..no pain no gain!
