Question of the day. How long can you go without thinking of airsoft?


This summer has been the worst airsoft dry spell I have ever had. It seems like every gameday, I have something already planned that I can't get out of. I went from a religious week to week player to a chairsofter. As we speak now I'm roughly 8700km away in Italy and I can't get airsoft out of my head. I'm jonzing bad man. As soon as I'm back home, unless there is a death in the family or the wife says I can't I'm airsofting every damn weekend.

Hello, my name is Jsae, and I'm an airsoft junkie, too.

I have parked my car until I can replace the 10 year old tires and, while less than 1/100 of the distance from our home fields as you, I think I feel the same agitation building.....

I recently bought more ammunition and a battery-free replica ACOG 4x32 scope I want to test out.

I don’t think a day go's by where I don’t reflect on airsoft in some way! I must say it is an incredible sport, I have played many sports at a competitive level in my life and been in shooting clubs, marksmanship clubs and many years in the Military, but I must admit airsoft test you in so many ways, you get out what you put in, no matter how good you are or how good you think you are you will lose concentration, make the wrong decision and pay for it by getting owned, at the end of the day I find it gratifying to have skills tested in each and every game and never dominate, you can always learn, always get better, always get challenged, makes you think, makes you work.

then you move in to gear and guns, collecting, fixing, modifying and trying to improve and get yourself self-sufficient, make gear work better.

yup, it is a great sport, for the last 10 years or so I have had a blast, with 25 or so airsoft guns in my closet and another 25 that have come and gone, I would say it is a way of life and an addiction!! the wife don’t understand....lol

Hi, my name is rampage and I'm an addict to Airsoft.

On the 25th will be my 6th year playing in the lower mainland.
I have played back to back games for months on end.

Played many mil-sims including on the island and in Penticton.

I have been team CO once and ran that team to a total domination, but have to give so much credit to all the CO's I have ever had the chance to play with.

I have hurt my knee at the end of Aug. I can't stand not playing but I'm getting better and shall be back very soon (can't stand it)!

Saying I'm an airsoft addict is like saying Hitler was a mean guy.

It has been months since my last fix. I have cleared my house so many times that i can do it blindfolded now. I plan on tossin that needle in mah veins on the 29th of sept.

I don't chairsoft, I have an IPhone...

I used airsoft as an excuse to quit smoking three years ago. I figured I would use the money I would save from not smoking for the first six months and put it toward airsoft. I haven't smoked in three years but I spend three times the amount of money I used to spend on cigarettes on airsoft.

It's a dangerously addictive trifecta hobby. 1- the adrenaline of playing and fun hanging with your buddies. 2- upgrading, fixing, swapping and general tinkering. 3- collecting and chairsofting.

But Gunny if I was in Italy airsoft would be the last thing on my mind unless I could find a surplus store in which case I would be searching for a San Marco camo uniform.

Yup, Im an addict too. I spend sooooo much time at work thinking about what I can use the stuff they throw out at work for, at airsoft. I have got some damn good ideas for games from looking at it all. Its a new 103 unit apt building, I need a trailer to pick up the stuff I have put aside.
And then there is thinking about the next 5 guns you want, cause when you get one you should already know what you want after that one, and so on.....
