First AEG: G&G M4 CQBS MAX. $560- full metal

purchased it because it was factory upgraded. and at the time full metal was hard to come by, and expensive.

Purchased the CQB version because I wanted a small tight package that was easily maneuverable. I have nothing but good things to say about G&G and this AEG was no different. 1.5 years of weekly heavy gaming before the first failure, (trigger return spring snapped).

all in all very impressed G&G all the way. A+++

UTG mp5 about $110

Purchased it because it was cheap and I was around 14. We bought it off Airsoftgi and one of my friends mom brought it across the boarder. I went to wall mart and bought some multi coloured .2 gram bbs but I swear they were .12's. I ran that for about a year and had no problems. To be honest it wasnt a bad gun.
I'm so operator when my battery dies I take my barrel out and use it as a blow gun.

Tokyo Marui AUG (used and upgraded) $400

This type of bullpup has a fast-to-aim lean front end, natural magazine release, and comfortable shooting feel.

I love the shorter overall weapon length in bullpups. This is a classic.

I rented a HK415 and did enjoy using it, but the longer rifle was a little irritating.

My first REAL airsoft gun (not counting Walmart/Canadian tire guns) was G&G AK47 with synthetic wood furniture $450

Purchased it because me and my friends were all getting more into the sport and naturally we all wanted to upgrade. I just bought the cheapest gun I could find ( I only knew of one store so the selection was slim) which originally was a cheaper G&G AK47 model but the day I arrived at the store the gun I originally wanted was reserved, so I got sales manned into the more expensive version.

I bought the AK47 platform because I already had a see through walmart M4 and wanted a different gun type. I have had no problems with the gun and have had it for 2.5 years.

Very impressed with G&G especially because for the first year I gave this gun almost zero TLC and it still preformed every week

first gun... cyma ak47 with clear body... was less than $200 . bought it because of the low cost to get started and get out playing( TMs at the time were going for $600 plus) shot well and i would say even out performed stock tm (was 380-400 fps new, tm stock was 300-330 usually) still have this gun today and lone it out regularly although it has been reworked many times(smashed into many pieces, bent, dunked in the creek... ridden hard, put away wet...) some definite quirks to specs on cyma guns but i wouldn't put them down as a crappy clone

mine was double eagle m4, nylon fiber all the way even the gears inside the plastic gearbox is plastic. bought it for 49 quid tax included. didnt gamed it just plinking around the backyard and after a month of shooting paper targets semi mode just gave up, but it did survived being shipped fron u.k to here, whereas my cyma mp5 metal bodied was in pieces when i received it. the effective range on my m4 was around 60-70ft. and my cyma was around 50-60ft.

When I started almost 6 years ago I ordered a kraken Ak ($186 shipped to my door), it was all I could afford cause TM's were going for $600.
It had a clear body and I was the only one that had a clear soft!
I got laughed at by most ppl but I played with it till I found a metal body and changed it over (took me 20 hrs, I had no idea what I was doing) I was a competive player with it.
I never had to open the gearbox, if it had broken then I would have. The only thing I did to it was a TB.
It never failed in over two years of use.

Classic Springer KHC 9mm Beretta was my first "airsoft". I was young and poor during the glory days of JACs. Summer 2001 is when I rediscovered airsoft. I was surprised that airsoft now runs on batteries not freon gas. TM SR16 was my first AEG. Retail was $700 and payed $670 for it. Same gun where I learned my craft and my workhorse for 3 yrs then sold to move into full metal AEG's. 4 yrs ago a client of mine asked me to look at his gun for work unaware it was my old M4 in the bag. :D
