KWA m9 ptp vs KWA m1911 ptp

OH BOY! Another "which gun" question!!! Don't worry i won't make it a habit Anyway on with it, i decided its high time for a sidearm and im kind of torn between these models. The brand isn't as important but im torn between the m1911 platform and the m9 beretta model. While the 1911 has a sleek design and is smaller and weighs slightly less, the beretta is just looks powerful and feels nice. Im not sure if there is any performance differences though. Has anyone owned these pistols? And difference internally?

Well, i cant speak for KWA, but I can speak for KJW for both of these models. KJW m9 was my first gbbp and the 1911 is my 2nd and current. Both are lefty friendly which is a big plus for me since I'm a south paw. Both look sexy and sleek. But I'd go 1911. Slimmer, still sexy, and a little more ambi-friendly. But that's just my preference. I really have no experiance with the KWA line of pistols.

im running kwa 1911 ptp for 2 yrs now without a single problem. its gas efficient and works fine during winter games. the only downside is the limited mag capacity in which youre gonna have to buy 2 more extra.

Have you considered the p226? The grip is amazing on it.

Can kjw compare at all to the ns2 system? Are they gas efficient? And how is the blowback? Does it shoot well enough for me to rely on when my primarys out of ammo?

As well it seems like the place im buying from seems to only have the ksc m9 and does not have the kwa, when i looked online people seemed to say the ksc is actually better and that kwa is almost a clone of the ksc. Is this true? Anybody have any experience with ksc?

All three guns mentioned above, are great military sidearms, hence that's why I have all three in my collection. I have a Mark IV M1911 (KWA), P226R and a M9A1 (both KJW) .
The P226 and M9 are similar in size and weight, with the 1911 being a bit slimmer and lighter. The 1911 has a 14 round capacity and the other two have a 24 round capacity. The 1911 is single action only, meaning you have to have the hammer cocked in order to fire, and should be carried in condition one. (cocked with the safety on) The P226 and M9 are both double action, meaning you can have the round chambered and manualy decock the hammer down and still be able to fire by pulling the trigger. (the P226 has a decocking lever) Both can be safely carried in condition two. (hammer down and safeties off).
My suggetion to you is, go to a shop and hold the guns and pick the one that feels the best in your hand. (because they do feel different) Hope this helps. Good luck.

Cobra's right one of the best things to do would be to go and feel the different guns in a store.

I personally know that I find the Glock , M9 and 1911 a little awkward but I love the feel of the P226.

Ironically, I've been running a WE M&P9 as my main sidearm all summer. I love it !!
