Big thanks to Chris, Kyle, Elliott and all the other refs and volunteers.
For the first sim hosted by panther it was great, I saw a lot of really good fire fights and some great team work.
The red team was a little light on experienced players but in the second half they sure organized and gave a good run. Its always hard with a group that large and with that many new players it can get very frustrating when hits are not called but at the end of the day its a game and we are all there to have fun. I hope this will be a yearly event and I look forward to it.

Thanks to Panther, its owner and employees for putting on the SIM, venturing into an other sport and running something on such a large scale for the first time is difficult, I am sure future SIMS will be better and better with gained experiance.

Thanks again
you went FULL RETARD!!

I know this is NOT Panthers first Mil-Sim but their first running of an Airsoft Mil-Sim all in all a good job.

I will participate in the next Panther Mil-Sim but I will not play my forward front line kind of game, if there are no weapon control rules. I was lit-up three times point blank with full auto AEG’s not the best of times. The part that pissed me off the most was being shot three times by my own team mates! (shooters having NO RADIOS) I was only shot seven times so after the third time by my own team mates, I bit back a little and I will apologies for losing my shit a bit.

Chris, Kyle and Crew thanks for a good day.

Shoot you later, ;)

It was good to play with some old friends and make a few new ones and also to see Chris added a new two story structure to the field. Having full time ref's really helped with clearing up issues, helping respawn and monitoring the nuke locations. In my opinion the ref's did a really great job and where the most professional I have ever seen at the field.

Wasn't a big fan of having to pay extra for using my own bb's. Because my pistol wont hop .3's I had to pay $7.50 for my primary guns bb's and another $7.50 for the 60 bb's I load in my pistol mags. I heard quite a bit of grumbling from players about some of the bb's while other bb's where fine.

In my opinion the addition of a gun hit rule would add to the games excitement, dynamics and might even sell more pistols at local retailers.

I was pleasantly surprised that there was no issues with MED's but I was a little worried of being shot point blank from a sniper rifle shooting 500fps. Rental players might not be a good idea for such a large Sim as I saw allot of blue coverall players taking off their masks on the field and dry firing in the safe zone and because the ref's where doing their job deep in the field I thought Kyle was going to have a brain hemorrhage dealing with irresponsible and dangerous players.

Overall I had a good day and I would play next year if we can bring our own bb's without being penalized. Oh and by that time maybe I will be organized enough not to have to make 10 trips from my car to the staging area. Thanks Rampage for taking charge and organizing our team.

Although I got no confirmed kills I raised a few flags and helped capture a few territories with the nuke,I saw some really good team work once everything with or co. got sorted out. I.e. the mutiny went, well. And I won a prize which made my day better. At times I felt like there were a few problems with the spawning,I love the idea of medics and bleed outs I think that could have helped get rid of the spawning issues and would encourage squads to work together more.

Commenting on what Claymore said about friendly fire I think some of the players weren't taking their time to check who they were shooting at and who was shooting at them. I was killed a few times by friendly fire, once while with Claymore.

And what loops said about the bb's I was one of those people having a problem with some of the BB's

Overall it was a pretty good day, met some nice people, had some fun.

Okay, I've kept quiet long enough....

Chris,
Great job, I was really impressed with the outline, the field, refs the whole thing. I cant wait for next time!

However, when I first heard there were going to be minors playing, I was a little concerned to say the least, but I thought to myself, well heck...there will most likely be MED's so it cant get that bad. Well, I was wrong...

The one part of the day that made me want to just say "Fu*k this I'm out" Is when myself and two other younger players managed to take control of the church after a long firefight, great cover fire and overall amazing teamwork. Even after we saw a squad of red players spawn WAY to close us, we were literally under the gun at one point 8-) I ended up going in (pistol only) to clear the bottom floor when I noticed to younger players about to try and come into the building as well, so well..I waited for them to start coming in the back door and I shot them both. Well, guess what? One player yells to his buddy, well call him Travis (my name) so I don't call "any people" out. And then one for sure, probably both of them based off the wounds I still have start unloading on me at point blank. I have atleast 4 serious marks on my arm, chest and someone stomach where I started bleeding and then some more bruising.

Can you please have Minimum Engagement Distances next time? I really did not enjoy swearing my head off at this kid and probably ruining the rest of his day.

Did I mention he didn't even call himself out after?

TJ OUT! :D

Thanks to Panther for putting on a pretty good day and the refs for their work on the field. I personally got more kills than I have in a long time and playing with my teammates after a long layoff was fantastic as well as Cook-off and silent. I did like the majority of the day but like most I am not a fan of no MED and its not that I can't take getting shot, its more the fact that so many players have zero trigger control as I found out when I got friendlied at close range to the head with not one full auto burst but two from the same player and as you can imagine I lost my shit and tied into the player and then had a bit more of a spaz back at respawn.

I was not a fan of stopping the sim after an hour and a half to watch men kick each other in the balls so if the next one is like that I most likely won't go as I completely seized up waiting for the game to continue.

Pantherprime, thanks for your input and perspective. It's good that we can share our opinions pros and cons on this site. We as a group want the best for this sport. With open communication, this is the key to making TMS or airsoft at Panther the Premier Location that all airsoft groups in B.C., Western Canada, and Pacific Northwest want to emulate and want to come and play at the Big Mil-Sims here.

Pantherprime I'm not speaking for LMAG but myself I did read your requests for suggestion, but I didn't think to suggest anything because there was not much to base any suggestion on. I did read through the Milsim scenario and I apologies that I didn't catch that we would be breaking for lunch or I forgot to write down that point to mention it. I was under the impression that the organizers of the Milsim were aware that with (TMS) Tactical Military Simulation or airsoft Milsim games that there are no stopping of the game once you start and it runs until the posted time or until all the objectives have been accomplished by one team or the other. Food and supplies are taken on to the field for the whole Milsim. If the organizes of the event have provided hot food for the event or have vendors selling food. Then it is up to the command of each team to organize troops to cycle off the field if players need to get food. That is part the whole experience. So In my case just this small detail about a TMS / airsoft Milsim was not mentioned this is a lack of communication on my part. I as a participant next time I will ask a few more questions just to make sure we are all on the same page.

We all know that there will be no perfect game with that many players but there are a few steps that can be added to make the next event better we all agree on that.

shoot you all later, ;)

^what they said
great game day and awesome turn out! my only complaint is about the MED's. I was prone and a hostile player approached me from behind, he had a clear shot at me from 10-20 feet away and instead of pulling his sidearm or shooting me with a single shot on semi (I also would have accepted a mercy) he unloaded on me on full auto! luckily my camel-back saved most of my back but i did receive a couple bruises. It was not the lack of muzzle control that made me mad though it was the the glass on my EO-tech got smashed. I do realize that every time i set foot onto the field I run the risk of having my equipment broken but the fact that it could have been prevented by some trigger control or common curtassy makes me a little peeved. I am not saying that it is panthers fault (it happens when there are MED's in place as well) but it sucks to be on the receiving end of something like this. Image

that being said i am looking forward to the next milsim
