bend the bb, i think my gun needs a medic...

Post2013-07-29 / 18:26 UTC GMT +00:00

My gun has been shooting to the right. And yes I know many people have said then compensate for it, which I have been doing but I was wondering if at the next game a gun doctor or someone with enough knowledge could inspect my gun and diagnose, help, or fix the problem?

What I believe is happening is my air nozzle is sitting in the lower left corner of my hop up chamber do it's causing the air on the left side of the inner barrel to be a little stronger than the air on the right side. When I opened 'er up I noticed that my gear box is sitting on an angle to the left which is making my air nozzle sit to the left... If anyone could inspect my gun and help if greatly appreciate it.

i would look at things like.

hop up rubber, New or worn down?
hop up nub, is it broken or intact and straight.
hop up arm.
installation of the hop up.
barrel installation.
is your barrel straight or bent?

i would start my search there long before i decide to take the GB shell apart.

if you dont know how to do what i mentioned above i would be happy to take alook at it for you.

I've looked at those but you can take a look if you'd like.

As what Gunny mentioned, those are the basic factors of curving bb. If you have taken it apart before maybe you didn't put it back the right way. Anyway, it's a simple trouble shooting and many players will be able to help you out before the game.

How bad is the curve and what weight bb are you using. That also plays a large factor.

If anyone would be willing to look at my gun I'll be at Panther tomorrow.

I drive a silver Saturn.

my money would be on the hop on rubber not being quite centered, or the barrel as well.

if you want me to take a look at it you can drop it off at my house. Not a fan of tinkering with guns on the field. too many little pieces can go missing.
