Under Youth Airsoft

Post2013-06-12 / 03:25 UTC GMT +00:00

I was looking at the site and said that youth players at the least has to be 16. I'm 12 and I am really interested in air soft. The text said there was an organization nearby that lets under youth players play, and will provide information upon request. I contacted them by email and so far no response is given. Also i would like to know the age for a person to be a "Guardian".

Sorry for the late reply, but welcome to LMAG.
A guardian is someone who is an adult that can be responsible for you.
FVAA Plays it Bigfoot just outside of mission and let's younger players on the field without a parent on the field with them.
Hope this helps.

A guardian is a legally defined status.

Just bring one of your parents. If you had an alternative guardian, you would have used this term before. Only your parents' wills (death) or the court can assign and register a replacement guardian, anyway.

First, one of your parents HAVE to sign a waiver.
Then someone close to you and your family, over 18, and that can be responsible for you on the field at all times can be your guardian.
Some people think I am trying to be sneaky, its really that my eyes are not as good and I have to make sure its a tree and not the enemy! Trees do not call hits. I have shot a few.

OK, so let's call this person your chaperone. They will be responsible for anything that goes wrong for you, to you or because of you.

Guardian is the person that the field would prefer be present, it's a very specific person. If your chaperone can take responsibility for dealing with your gear problems, keeping you from getting hurt, and supervising you so you don't hurt anyone else, then they can be your fire buddy for the day.
