You need lvl 2 certificate over 450fps-500 with 100ft MED and lvl 3 over 500 fps-550 with 150 MED. Usually a couple times a year we have the courses. Should be one in spring.

As you can see this is an old post.

In this course you will get a lot of sitting in a chair writing notes (normally 4 hours depending on how many people), however you can learn how to apply the note taking and range estimation in the "in field test".

When I took my lvl 3 you had to have 0 complaints for a year.

Awesome thanks for the update. When I first got into airsoft in 2013 I did the level 1 course at panther and really enjoyed what I learned and I'm definitely interested in the level 2 course so if this happens count me in!

Not to be "that guy" But I don't see any sniper courses happening in the near or even distant future. These fps that allow users to use 500+ BARs are not used by any club/field that I know of. Plus, the guys that were doing it are MIA as far as I know, the fact that the forums are still being "used" is nothing short of a miracle.

I run my BAR @ 490 fps. No need to go any higher.

TJ has a point about the futility of the high energy settings. Most of the fields are not appropriate for that anymore.

But, I think we might be able to swing a "sniper" skills course. That would cover the fun stuff the others recall from their sniper training days: stalking, aiming, movement, concealment.
