Risky Sun is JOC's annual hosted 17 hour vehicle based milsim. Featuring full utilizable vehicles, Pyro, milsim rule sets and more!

Vehicles in the Op are utilized fully by both sides and will have dedicated drivers.

Players will be staged offsite and trucked into the field on real military vehicles giving a new level of realism to your airsoft game
In addition Risky Sun brings a high level of props such as AT4 launchers, IED attacks, pyro and much more!

This is a full Milsim with specific rules for ammo limits, medics, etc.

This year in order to promote signups the following structure will be put in place
June to July 5th 2014
- Full time players - Full 17 hours (18+ only) - $120 Non Member - $115 Members
- Part time day players (8+ hours, 16+) - $100 Non member - $95 Members
July 5th - August 1st 2014
- Full time players - Full 17 hours (18+ only) - $130 Non Member - $125 Members
- Part time day players (8+ hours, 16+) - $110 Non member - $105 Members
August 1 - Cutoff date of August 7
- Full time players - Full 17 hours (18+ only) - $140 Non Member - $135 Members
- Part time day players (8+ hours, 16+) - $120 Non member - $115 Members

Specialized roles such as Medics, and IED techs will be given a $5 discount for playing the specialized role. See the forum post detailing this.

Cutoff Date for signups will be August 7 @ 12AM

This game is prepayment ONLY
Payment options - Via the JOC store or message Gish for further arrangements


Teams
TAN Based camo - Primary BDU must be fully TAN (Chest rigs, etc can be anything )
Green based camo - Primary BDU must be fully GREEN

Team colors will be strictly enforced. and all player MUST have matching full color tops and bottoms. No BLACK/UCP/

We were just talking about that sim on Saturday at the game. That's too bad. Always liked the Island trips.

We'd love to have more Western Canada folks come out for the game. It's time to reunite!

Also some major news folks.
This year's Risky Sun will be taking place on multiple fields! So get ready for being trucked around a bit more to accomplish tasks!

From what I have heard from some players is why would we come out for a milsim that runs thru the night when most of the Ab. guys have night vision and us poor B.C. guys dont. The cost of living here I guess. But going out, getting shot, and respawning all night kinda sucks.
Same reason for Golden.

Don't let that get in the way of attending though. It's not hard to fight against NVG users if you play smart, if it's night still treat it like daytime, use cover move in spurts lie down/crouch. If you stand around and move in the open thinking night is good enough cover then yes you'll get shot up.
We are playing on a full moon night this year so that'll help everyone out.

A couple of updates regrading the game.

1. We have secured two other sites for offsite missions. We will be offering a "Black" mission aimed at the senior milsim players in the community. The black site mission is a 7 hour offsite mission with specific rules and goals that effect the game. Also the other field will be used throughout the day for QRF style missions for all players

2. Vehicles have been secured. We will have the following available
- 2x 5 ton Deuce transports
- 1x 8 wheel PLS missle launcher
- 1x Technical
- 1x 5 1/4 ex Military truck
- 1x Land Rover 110
- 1x Land Rover WMIK (Day)
- 1x Toyota offroad

3. Currently 72 signups but only 25 paid, so ensure your pre paid for the game.
