The Noob's question: Effective Camo Patterns?

Call me crazy but I have been viewing the vertex camo online at DS tactical. Both the Mandrake and Highlander patterns. Anyone have first hand knowledge on this stuff?

I have multicam Vertex (top only) from Dave's. Price and overall quality is great. For me, it's an alternative brand for an expensive Acr'tyrex but it's above Tru spec and other low end brands.

I've seen a few guys wearing Mandrake and they are effective camo

Well I finally got around to look at this Tropical MC.

I have that already.... When my first set of MC was starting to fade (actually brighten up from washing it each week) I bought clothing dye the brand is DYLON $6 a pouch. I started with the Olive green worked well but the next time I will try the dark green I saw an actual sample and it will be bang on to the Tropical MC. You will need two pouches to do pants & top.
