Olive Drab vs Coyote Brown

I went with CB. I figured that although it may not be the best at MRP, it will work OK in pretty much any environment and any season. Its like marpat to cadpat, although cadpat beats marpat in a lot of greener areas, MARPAT is just OK everywhere. Browns are everywhere, greens arent really. Although I probably wont be playing out of MRP anytime soon, I figured I wouldnt want to specialize in any field quite yet, and CB goes with a variety of camos, and Im still experimenting with what I like best, in aesthetics and function. So far Im really happy with multicam over marpat, but im really jittery to get my hands on multicam tropic. So pretty

Although with blacks, when I was in cadets I was told it was the worst camouflage as a solid color. Its only supposed to be used to imitate shadows and break up your figure. Learned about it when an officer was telling me how to make a ghillie.

You really should check out MRP, the field is worthy of note. It isn't much to look at yet as far as structures, but it's natural potential is through the roof. Good choice on the multicam and CB, they should serve you well.

... The second distinctive shape to remove is the webbing. Many armies will issue several types of camouflage clothing but usually the soldier only gets one set of webbing, the majority of it dark green, which he must use in desert and snowfield. Making webbing brown would help, but the straps are straight lines, which the human eye is very adept at picking out. Webbing should be made from a material with a pattern of neutral grey, beige, red-brown and charcoal. To break up the shape the colours should be printed in transverse bands. The pattern used in French "Central European" camouflage may be suitable with a change of colours. The same pattern would also break up the rectangular shape of pouches and rucksacks.
