So here is a bit of a map made up of myself, bushman and Jesse's gps tracks, property lines and poi's.
I’m new to this fancy fandangeld computer wizardry so this is the first attempt at a map, well if you count how many times I sent drunken teddy and jesse a file that contained one dot and a squiggly line this is like my 43 map lol hope it works and you enjoy. Before or after the game this Sunday I will be mapping all currant trails so keep an eye out for a version 2.
All you have to do is extract the zip file open folder mrp1 and if you have Google earth loaded on your computer. Open the file with that. Alternately you can open Google earth and click file at the top left corner and select open from the drop down menu then just select the file and it should pop up.
At the bottom of Google maps there is a little clock it will most likely say 2003 next to it if you click this it will give you the option of changing the satellite image the one dated 3/20/2004 is a winter shot and it provides the best image it is a lot more open than any of the other dates due to the lack of foliage.
Legend
Dark blue-property line
Light blue-creek
Red-trails
Pink-old road/skidder trails
Yellow-power lines
Cheers
Sean (CAV).
