I didn't realize you could buy Multicam tropic yet? Regular Multicam does not blend all that well at MRP because there is so much green all around you, but Multicam tropic may work great when it's available.

The guy I bought my SR15 from is one of the first suppliers in canada to have tropic multicam

How is that so? MC Tropic is only available as frabric right now and there isn't anyone whom has released a uniform as of yet. (scheduled as of end of April) Propper of True-spec should have them as MC black is now available. DS Tactical has the Fabric for MC tropic and is making items from a pro tailor in the area. Myself and Char have seen the fabric up close, nice stuff but no uniforms as of yet. Curious how this person has access to this MC tropic already!?

He just has the fabric and he makes pouches. No idea if he makes BDUs.

Atacs FG works almost as well as solid OD but it washes out too fast and becomes less effective. It would blend in much better in our environment if there was more contrast between the green colours and if they made all the colours darker.

Looks cool though. Kinda like the uniforms the rebels used on the moon of Endor in the Return Of The Jedi.

I have no idea where they've received their multicam tropic gear from. Could be from the military, could be through a private contract. The only set of BDUs I have seen in that pattern were made by Crye. Crye has sent me an email claiming that their new patterns will be released in BDUs, also possibly other equipment by fall. As I understood it, they were testing those patterns, I was not told wether they were officially deployed or not. Beyond that, I don't know what to tell ya.

I'm not sure about the pattern you mentioned, but the new US4Ces line by Hyperstealth is apparently flopping next to its competitors. They are an off digitized pattern almost. The woodland/jungle pattern was one I was originally looking into.

Who knows if their pattern is legit, I haven't heard of a fabric being officially released except multicam black. Same goes for AOR 1&2 BDUs. I've only seen one company with the actual fabric, the rest have been fakes. I guess the US government wanted to clamp down on their SEAL patterns. The real fabric will have the US NAVY symbol in it. As for multicam patterns, the standard transitional pattern has been around a long time now, and is in use by many modern army forces and special forces around the world. It's definitely the most copied pattern as well, as you can see variations, or extremely close clones of it all over. Officially, the new multicam patterns are going to be used by the US Army, as they beat out the other contracts to replace UCP (ACU), and they've already replaced many of their uniforms with multicam starting years ago, due the staggering failure of UCP.
I never wear an emblem, garment or title I have not earned. I never pretend to be, claim to be nor impersonate someone or something I am not. I never diminish, disrespect nor depreciate the sacrifices of true heroes. I utilize military style gear, equipment and tactics as they are the best and most appropriate tools for the job. I am a combat sports athlete.

They arent clamping down, manufactures only just got a hold of the fabric, so its going to be a bit before youll actually find anything in stores.

This is from the website.

We have had a lot of inquiries as to when apparel and gear in our new patterns will be available from their favorite manufacturers. Fabric from our exclusive printer, Duro Textiles, is currently in development and manufactures can expect to purchase Alpine, Arid and Tropic fabric around the time of Shot Show next month. MultiCam Black NYCO will be available in March however Black 500D Cordura is available now. See the above image for more information and click it to purchase MultiCam Black Cordura from Duro today.

Currently its actually available in limited locations. Heres one that makes headwear~

Honestly, go with what works. There are thousands of revues online, and testing information. Look into what directions modern military countries are going, and you'll get a strong idea. The issue with airsofters, not all of course but commonly, I'd they can't wrap their heads around the fact that their gear may be less effective, not as good, etc. They but what they like, and then tell everyone that it works great and is just as good as the best.

There's only really a dozen or so camp types around the world that work well. Just because one pattern does okay in an environment, does not mean it's a good camo, works as well versus its competitors, or is what you need. Black is a great example. It looks cool, and many people like the SWAT, movie, assassin look, but don't realize it sucks balls anywhere, even at night. You can wear it if course, but better tools for better results.
