I'm not concerned with the whole fashion show part of the game. I think most of us are going to wear what works and is comfortable to wear/use.
Oh Herro Prease.
I've been around the lower mainland twice, shot everyone once.
No Glock I can't rock
no field fee too high
no drive too far
no SIM too long
no walk to hard
learned a lot of lessons on the field.
lunch is for pussies,
I've heard pistons strip
I seen players slip
I'm a marine I'm a seal, depending on how I feel
never use low quality bb's in a high quality gun
.20's are for chronoing
.12's are for kids
no enemy too far, no gear too queer
I wear more then I have
any gun worth hauling is worth overhauling.
I participate, I operate I don't discriminate,

I was considering adding "accents" to the gear, having available a particular headgear, and perhaps trying to obtain some tertiary load carrying kit which would suit the role.

Imagine only tuning what you have working to show a surface sheen of the image desired. But I guess that's more for the Tier 2 irregulars...

Question, as Tier 1, are we going to carry all our stuff that we need for the entire 36hrs? like everything from food, clothes to gear? Im thinking of leaving some stuff at the base but walking a few kms back n forth is not ideal lol

I thought the Tier 1 guys would need to carry 80 to 90 % of their kit.

To follow up on the insurgent image we want to project, can we agree on an armband or brassard pattern or colour and run with that, worn over our personalized gear?

Basically all I'm gonna leave at the FOB is my assault rig and back up AEG. And I don't think too many of us are gonna go full insurgent Jsae. Probably just wear green based patterns and what we usually use for a game day + rucksacks, etc. But hey, if you wanna do it, knock yourself out.

I know a few guys are working on some morale patches for the game. We'll probably get some photos and quotes soon.

I'm trying to be light as I can so below is my load out:

Crye (custom made) woodland/M81 shirt and pants
Fast Base Jump Helmet - green cover
Mayflower APC (CB)- night op
Mayflower Split Chest Rig Gen 5 (CB) - day op
3 Day Assault Pack (all essential - food, clothes/socks, poncho, jacket, water, SUGAR, multi tool, flashlight, smoke grenade, camera, helmet cam, bb tracer unit, 50,000mAh battery bank charger, NVG (hopefully) etc.)

If we need a sniper, I will snipe. So I will carry BAR + shorty M4 + G17, if combo is permitted. Otherwise, M4 400fps + G17.

Well, actually, my version of full insurgent is loose and takes inspiration from South America and the Phillippines: military kit with a coordinated armband. Hardly prize-winning, but at least in character. All we'd need to do is get matching armbands.

I have been experimenting with bandanas tied into an armband for use instead of tape. Roll the bandana loosely and flatten it (gets to be a 2 or 3 inch armband) then tie it around your arm.

Would you guys support getting a particular type of bandana and wearing is as an armband?

Perhaps a bright camo pattern (orange, blue, purple)? Perhaps a solid colour?

Looks pretty much like the stuff from Terminator Salvation, as I noted elsewhere:

i will not be wearing anything that would help the enemy see me, so unless the arm bands are darkgreen im out

^^^ My thoughts exactly. Why give the enemy something to see?

I do see your concerns.

Let me think about how it could work. I'll come up with an idea in time.
