Okay, so even though PMAGs are 80 rounds, its still a mid cap. But since its under 100 rounds, that means I can carry over 8 of them? Just want to clarify, thanks

As far as classification for iceback 80 rounds is a low cap. They are considering any mags below 100 (99 or lower) as low caps. So in theory you could either carry 8 midcaps (anywhere between 100 rounds and 190? each) for a total of 800-1520 rounds depending on the capacity of your mags OR unlimited "low caps" of capacities 30-95 (tho I have only ever seen a couple mags that hold 95). But keep in mind that you will likely be firing less in a milsim than in a game day.

Personally I'd prefer to use 8 of my 130 round mags than carry 13 80 round mags for the same amount of BBs.

After watching the briefing videos, I have the impression that the Op-For team must defend and occupy the "warehouse".

Do we know the ISAF base location?

Warehouse is, indeed, our 'main' base. However, we also have 3 FOBs, one of which is held by ISAF. Their base is located at A12 on the Iceback map (http://www.ucsgc.ca/wp-content/uploads/ ... py-map.pdf), or at 575645 (roughly) on the map being thrown around on here. So far as I know, bases have not changed locations this year.

Here is a map Merlin of the Marauders is currently working on. It shows the approximate locations of our FOBs, as of last year.

Any chance of a .gpx or even gps locations I really hope someone has gps marks or something similar from last year.

i downloaded it a while ago and have never used it. But I think for a milsim this scale, it could be quite useful

It's not a bad idea, except that cell coverage is spotty up there. I had weak service, but others had none. Without service, you won't be able to ping GPS and the app wouldn't work so well. We thought of something similar, but the coverage issue is keeping us back.

Merlin's map fails to load for me. I'll plot the base on the LMAG draft map.
