Are they calling their hits? If not crank up the rps on the ol polarstar! But seriously I'd say higher teens to low twenties, I must be about 20rps.
I'm so operator when my battery dies I take my barrel out and use it as a blow gun.

snappier semi auto = higher ROF. cant have one without the other.

snappy trigger=

high torque motor+ 18:1-16:1-13:1 GEARS. 7.4V 25+c lipo or 11.1 if you wanna get crazy

Could you not just put in a mosfet to get a better trigger response? Or would I need the new motor(switching to a long motor or are there high torque short motors?) and gears.

mosfets will help with trigger response. but not much (assuming everything else internally stays the same) all a mosfet will do direct all the electrical current to the motor and not through the trigger switch.

high torque motors come in short and long type. You need to make sure your getting the right motor type for your AEG.

do you need to switch motors and gears for better trigger response? no. you can always just toss in a 11.1v lipo. but a AEG thats using a 11.1 will have more wear and tear as compared to a 7.4v.

I haven't checked my rate of fire, but I would like to have good trigger response.

Maybe I need to add a high-torque motor to go with my 300% torque gears.

But first, how do I accurately measure my rate of fire?

1. Madbull or the old X3200 chronos measures rate of fire
2. some people records an audio of their gun shooting and open the audio file with some recording software. you can easily see the waves and count the spikes then calculate or get the average per minute
