Looking to buy

Post2016-04-19 / 19:20 UTC GMT +00:00

Hi guys, not sure if this is the right the place to post this, but I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get my hands on a KWA M9 gbb, new or second hand?

Thanks

I haven't seen you out for some time, Khaki. Good to see you are still interested in airsoft.

I imagine you have considered the old-fashioned way of reaching players with kit they want to sell: ASC and local Buy and Sell forums (with the old age-verifying routine).

Hey jsae, it has indeed been a while, i've been out of the country, and am looking to get back into the sport. What are your thoughts on a TM sw M&P 9? can it run green gas? and what are the upgrades like?

Thanks!

I'm unqualified to comment on technical aspects, Khaki. I'm 100% electric, too.

TJ, Pinoy, Char and Claymore are among the fellows who still read the forums. They are more qualified than me. I'm sure they would have a word or two about it for you.

Can't go wrong with TM. Yes it can use green gas (Pick up a propane adapter and use camping propane tanks)

As far as upgrades are concerned, you may not need any other than an inner barrel and new hop up rubber. Best advice is play with it for a bit, you may be happy with how it performs stock. I am unfamiliar with the upgrade side of it however.

edit: quick search for upgrades I came up with this...

Thank you very much for the replies, I was considering getting the TM but found a kwa 1911, and have always preferred kwa :P. Although am going to have to replace one or two parts to get it up and running again. Tjfast i was wondering do you do any work on gbb? or do you know anyone who does work on them? i tried Trigger but they have a month backorder and Poco no longer does there own, not sure about milsig.

stay away from kwa 1911....trust me. I too love kwa, especially there 226. Just something about the single stack magazine and the way the gas system works, it had to be a hot day to effectively empty the entire mag. Granted, it could have just been my gun, but I've heard of others having the same issue.

My 226 was my primary for a very long time, ended up buying an additional. However, I did end up selling it I still have one. Recently though, I ended up picking up a gen 4 WE glock 17, and now my 226 sits on the shelf  Just food for thought.

I do not work on gbb, to many springs and whatnot for me. search the forums for Damage. or on faceook, https://www.facebook.com/Damage-Six-M-Precision-Works-Blog-186683808023958/?fref=ts He is my go to guy when things are beyond me to repair.
