Yeah they worked far beyond my expectation except for one point when I was pinned by a sniper and drinking mud, at that point they fogged for a little. But otherwise they worked great.

Non-Fogging Goggles?

Post2013-08-26 / 01:41 UTC GMT +00:00

After playing a game and realizing a major problem with my current eye protection, i realized i need new goggles that don't fog. Some suggestions given to me were Smith Optics Boogie Regulator Goggles or LOPRO Regulator Goggles. Does anyone have any experience with these or can anyone recommend effective alternatives?

Gunny sells fans that you can Jerry rig to your goggles that work great. I had the same problem, not anymore.

Alright, may i ask how much these cost and how i would pay him for them? I also would like a pair of goggles tho as my white ones seem to give my away quite a bit and don't want to die the second i run of battery.

Try these ---> http://www.badlandspaintball.com/JT-Fle ... p_323.html
Shop around for that model as you might be able to find that one cheaper. Gunny's fans kits are around $45 for the fan kit. Highly recommended!

Yeah they're $45 and include a battery with charger and two fans.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I think i will most likely get one of those fans. Also, is it better to get goggles that are not attached to a mask?

Do u use just a pair of goggles and i seperate mask? Or do u use just a full mask? Thanks.

Who ever suggested the Smith Boogies hasn't played at Panther. Theyre great once you get out east, like into the okanagan or thompson/nicola area where its dry and humidity is low. But for coastal/lower mainland game, get either something with a duel pane, or get some of gunny's fans. Fogging is one of the biggest things any player has to deal with year round on the coast, so it's well worth it to drop a few bucks to prevent fogging.
