Step 1: Come out to LMAG game day and ask players what they use, what they think of (insert product name here), go online and do research and make opinion of product.
Step 2: ???????????
Step 3: Profit

Nobody likes spoon feeding, and everyone is going to have different wants and needs for airsofting. The best solution is to buy a decent starter AEG, then come out and play, and go from there.

Players are usually more than willing to help, that being said, spoon-feeding is NO NO. there is WAY to many accessories and gun parts out there to make a full database. and there are some players like me who like to keep their secrets a secret.

something that I might buy, would have no business being on a different person. Airsoft is totally based on you and how you like to operate..... or chairsoft.... however you roll.

goggles, a decent aeg, and good boots.
All others completely unnecessary, especially a sidearm, and any mention of a dmr or sniper weapon.

I got my first sidearm in the middle of my second year, I didn't need it until my third. I TRIED my first sniper rifle in my second year and then I almost immediately handed it back to the guy, who then sold it.

Any sniper a new player can use is going to be effective to about 150ish feet. How can you have a good time when you are holding a large BOLT ACTION rifle with a 60 FOOT MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT (to use a SINGLE SHOT BOLT ACTION weapon) while people with regular aegs are charging you with FULLY AUTOMATIC FIRE at a 40 foot med. Not to mention both guns will be doing about the same range (Dont forget full auto fire also works a hell of a lot better through heavy foliage then a single shot)

Its all in the MATHS!

if you need any more convincing, please reed Gunny's pinned post on sniping
Some times you can go for a while on the field without seeing anyone else. A true trooper wont let that put him down. A true trooper will play with himself

I got my sidearm already :) Dont really regret it.

Theyre incredibly fun, albeit a bit impractical at longer ranges. I really liked the pistol games, CQB has always seemed really cool and fun to me.

Also I really recommend putting boots as priority gear wise, the skin on my ankle was chafed off from hiking boots and it still hurts just wearing vans ;-;

I have grown to love my pistol as much, if not more than my AEG's. shooting a whopping 300FPS my glock is beyond stupid accurate.... and the range is unbelievable. its my go to gun to thread a needle.

Hmm did some one say pistols?
my aeg is damage made. enough said shoots in the mid 300's straight as a laser good for shooting through knotholes and cracks at 150 feet.
"whispering death" was fiendishly created on Melitia's work bench. With in 150 feet your dead and don't know from where, also from the same work bench came my tm hi-cappa, race gun, totally upgraded for competitive shooting, STI custom shop slide. coming to a field near you soon.
and my latest new arrival my USP Compact it's so cute! it also will be upgraded fully! a work in progress

so basically pistols...ya
