This product has been out for years but I guess it's never too late to do a review, lol
ASCU 2 (Airsoft Smart Control Unit Generation 2) - a complete replacement of your entire version 2 gearbox trigger switch assembly. Retail price was $100.
PROS
Durability:
• Installed more than 2 years ago and still alive
• Took a good abuse from the following batteries:
* Previous battery: 11.1V 45C 1300 mAh. Used one year or more but had to change it as no magazines can feed my gun in full-auto mode (hence 45C rating)
* Current battery: 11.1V 30C 1350 mAh
Features:
• Active breaking
* anti reverse latch not required (it never leave your spring compressed)
* beyond fast trigger response
• Programmable firing mode
* Semi only
* Semi + Full auto + 3 round burst (my favourite)
* Semi + 3 round burst
CONS
Design:
• For version 2 gearbox only
• Rear wired only (no front wired)
• Bulky chipset that has to be hidden inside the buffer tube and this means you can’t have your battery in the tube
• Very thin data cable and can break easily. Also hard to find replacement
RATING: (1-POS, 5-Poor, 7-Average, 10-Excellent)
Durability: 10
Features: 10
Design: 8
Total Score: 9.3
Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. All cheap mosfets I’ve used prior to this didn’t last long… either they stopped working, melted or didn’t perform as they should like preventing too much arcs in the trigger switch contacts.

ASCU3 is now available. Retail price is $160 but it comes with a complete kit and no more bulky chipset.
