I trust today is treating you well at the field. I ended up getting caught in the Vancouver Marathon road closures and resulting traffic.

When I realized that I would only be ready to play by lunch, I chose to RTB.

Until our next furball...

We'll you should have come for after lunch.
Morning was a bit of a gong show. Played two sims with way too many people for the field size (city to crackshack). Then played an attack and defend in the tire fort. Again with too any people. 30 inside and turned out to be like 100 attacking. Had a couple heated moments involving the refs then a handful of us decided screw this playing with Panther drop ins and after 1 about 20 of us went to Airsoft side and had a sneaky peat game. Was awesome, felt good to have a real Airsoft game again. I had a blast. Great firefights lots of back and forth, all around good times. Afternoon made it awesome to be back playing Airsoft again.

Thanks guys.
Keep having games like that and even bushman would be back I'm sure :)

This was my first game in a very long time, this made it very clear on how much the community has changed. There was 125 players, which was insane for the fields we played on. I'm happy to see that many people interested in airsoft, although bad habits are being formed from the misguidance from the people in charge. For example, at the chrono station, the referee who was running the chrono and firing the guns, because he said he could do it faster than us, wasn't wearing goggles... New players see this and it leaves an impression. Also. $32.04 for the day was a bit hard to swallow, this will cut my playing days from twice a month to once a month.

After lunch though, playing with just LMAG players, made up for the morning. It was so much fun using the whole airsoft side and having an extended tactical games. Made me realize how much I missed the game and the LMAG players. Hopefully something can be done that will allow LMAG to police themselves again and perhaps this can lower the cost for us because of the no need for a referee. I would be happy to pay $25 after taxes. Anyways that's my two cents.

Wow. That's the opposite of what I expected. Last few times I played huge chunks of players either left after lunch or spun off to play with the drop ins.

You're right. I would have loved the afternoon the way you described it.

I'm trying to get a feel from members about whether to proceed with a plan to arrange a way forward with the new management for how LMAG would fit in the OO-Panther-etc way of doing things. Sounds like we should do it.
