****WARNING**** Take what you read, think about it and realize I was ready for a lipo to blow up in my face because I was using the neccesary precations and had a red seal certifed electrician with me.
So some of you may have read, I kinda killed a 7.4 lipo, well one of my good friends is an electrician and actually knows a thing or two, so while we were at work the topic of my dead lipo came up and how I wasnt ready to shell out $100 for a smart charger right now so I could "Maybe" save one of my batteries. And as well all know, general balance chargers charge, and thats it. So as we all know, if your below a certian voltage your charger wont charge if its like my generaric tenergy charger. So, what did I do? I jump started the f'in battery! Yup, did some research, had some beers and I literally connected neg-neg and for a split, and I mean split second connect the positives together, then checked if the charger would start charging. Only took two "spikes" of direct connection for my charger to reconize and start charging.
Yes, I realize what your probably thinking while your reading this.....but I now have an extra battery, so there.
