LMAG Radio Frequency Table vs FRS/GMRS Combined Table
Hi All,
I was just taking a quick look at the LMAG radio frequency table (http://www.lowermainlandairsoft.ca/info/index.php?title=Frequency_Table) and I am worried that we are causing more confusion for newer players or players just getting into more advanced radios. The LMAG frequency table shows LMAG Numbers in the first column, I understand these were assigned based on frequencies in ascending order, but there are many players who use FRS, or FRS+GMRS radios and the channel numbers don't line up. (Correct me if I'm wrong but it's been ages since I've seen anyone using a basic GMRS only radio).
For users of FRS+GMRS radios the chart below shows frequencies for channel numbers up to 22. Channel numbers 1-14 also line up with FRS radios. Since these and manually programmed UHF radios are the most common, should we not update the LMAG frequency table to match?
