Lower Mainland Airsoft Group Forum

Well being as i can only play with LMAG on family days, ive recently taken to playing with ASG on any day LMAG does not host family game days. I seem to notice that they also play indoor cqb. Seeing as we live in the lower mainland and its pouring as i speak, as well as cqb being one of the other lovely types of airsoft, i was wondering why LMAG does not play indoors.

Indoor venues in the lower mainland are slim pickings..... ASG plays at a indoor paintball field.... there is paint everywhere, its sticky, slippery and disgusting at that arena. As long as you are not worried about that its a blast.

In my opinion it's much more difficult to organize and plan commercial events as a club compared to a business. I believe ASG has to put out the money ahead of time, plan games and deal with the paintball owners. It's asking allot of a volunteer organization to do all that and risk club funds.

I would love to see an airsoft only indoor facility that could cater to different clubs but at the moment with commercial rentals being so expensive and the low profit and high risk of an airsoft business as well as the insurance headaches make the possibility very slim.

I have heard various rumours over the last few years of CQB facilities opening but they never materialize.

Too bad the old BC Ferry is condemned. F**kin mold...

I was part of the last group that played on it.
It was 400 FPS no engagement distance and full auto.
It was in the winter when it was frozen, the upper hallways would flood and freeze.
Ah I could go on and on about the fun I had there but there was a time when there was a point blank shot the to face of a team mate that had a good bleeder right on the tip of his nose.
However I took OW OW OW like hit hit hit.

man did that ever hurt, the best part is when she said to me that doesnt count cause were on the same team WTF.

So im guessing no indoor LMAG games? The thing i hate about paintball is when u are up against a wall or some cover u pull away and ur bdu is all pink on the back. U kno those kinda things. Ah well i guess i could try asg see if i like it and go from there.

I was at RIP last night and I had a blast. The facility is much better than it used to be. Less paint and the powder (anti-slip) on the floor was nice and makes you able to run around compared to the floor mats that they had before, lol. 35+ attendance was a lot but it's what I want when it comes to intense firefight. All u need there is a pistol. I would play again maybe once or twice a month.

I saw a post about it on the airsoftgear forum, I assume that was who arranged this one in particular.

330 fps limit is a bit low to use anything I have aside from pistols, but could be fun to bust out a couple 50 round pistol mags.
