I have heard of international paintballing and competitions, but because of the realisticness of airsoft and trouble with the borders, is international airsoft possible? Has anyone done it? I only ask because we hav all seen scoutthedoggies videos with 135 people playing and id really like to play with those guys.

You need only travel to large events in Canada.

Also, read the out of town events advertised on this very forum: viewforum.php?f=40&

I have heard of groups that travel to the US and back with gear, but this is not recommended. You have to make sure that you get the appropriate forms completed (I think it's a Y58 but don't quote me, my memory sucks today) on your way down so that you can bring things back into the country, but even then if a customs agent suspects something is not legal for import (the form usually makes them assume it's legal but doesn't stop them from checking) it could be seized and you would have to open a case with customs to get it back, that is assuming it actual passes the import laws, which most pistols and some rifles don't.

Short answer: If you want to play out of country get a gun in the destination country, either buy one and sell it after you're done or find someone willing to loan/rent you one there.

The declaration form is not strong enough docs especially if the items doesn't have official serial numbers or any kind of markings that is acceptable to custom.

Plenty of big events within the country but i agree some countries are way to big of event. Years ago inRussia had about 1k players. Our team mate Ctac attended the event.

Ya im guessing if i ever do play in scotland if the laws havent changed im gonna rent a gun. It just seemed like if u did declare it they may allow it but sounds doubtful now. Ill try to hit some of the bigger games when im old enough
