Lower Mainland Airsoft Group Forum

Many players have assembled superb short videos covering LMAG events. Some post them to YouTube.

LMAG is interested in starting a YouTube channel where a qualified and interested volunteer can post compile these clips and post them to promote the Lower Mainland Airsoft Group.

You have a few hours a month that you can devote to collecting the clips, organizing them, managing the submissions, and posting them to YouTube. You also have experience working with video editors, the forum, FTP sites, and YouTube.

We would set up a zone on the FTP site for you to collect submissions and a zone on the forums to coordinate the video submissions.

What do you think? Serious volunteers can contact any admin for more information.

Perhaps we need to focus attention on our existing video producers?

Come in, Andres, Pinoy, Loops, Ackme, ...and others. We have an opportunity for you here.

I think this would be a superb idea I've been thinking about it for a while.

I used to take video editing courses in highschool, at the moment I just don't have any really good video editing soft ware I would like to be part of the "project" though.

I think making a "Lmag" video showing what the club is about would be great.

I have like 100 Gigabytes of videos to edit. I have the comp and software but I don't have the time

^^^ I got a mac with iMovie, and nothing but time in Kamloops. Plus I used to make hella-amounts of videos in high school using iMovie n' stuff.

I just go an older Hero, but dont have the program or knowledge how to edit and post. If we could start getting the sim cards to a couple of volunteers that can do it........

Dude. Even the thought of that makes me shudder.

He Meatshower that should keep you busy. By the time your done the first thousand hours Pinoy will have accumulated another 1000 hours for you.

I'm going to set up the FTP spaces for the submissions and the edited versions.

What do we need to do to set up an LMAG YouTube spot?

For a club trailer video, we have something simmering....

I know quite a bit about editing, but not so much about filming. If we had a group youtube account, and someone sent me clips id be more than happy to do them in my free time, i like editing! I could easily put a good 2-3 hours a week and probably upload once a week. I have adobe premiere, so i have the time, the equipment, the know-how and the willingness, but all i need is the clips. Anybody who films willing to give me clips? I could film myself but i wouldnt be able to start now because i dont have a gopro, hero or anything like that. I could film with a standard camera, but i just dont want it to get broken and don't want to miss out on playing just to film so max i would film is about 30 mins per game day. Lastly, my experience is two video and photo editing courses, one year of photo and video editing and am currently taking computer editing 11, so if i have any questions i always have a resource.

Overall, i would love to do this to help get more players to join LMAG and just for fun in general. The more the merrier! I love making videos and i love airsoft, what a wonderful combination!

Oh and about the trailer, I would love to do that, we made movie trailers as projects in computers last year and it was amazingly fun and i still have the soundtracks! All i would need once again are some clips.
