Is there a shelf life once bag is opened? just curious what the best way to store these remaining bbs I have left over from last saturday

What brand are you using?

From what I've heard from word of mouth they still take a long time to degrade. I have some Tamashi's kicking around that have been in an opened bag at different heats and in direct sunlight and they don't seem to have changed... and it's been about 3 months.

To prolong their life keep them in a sealed black back out of sunlight for most brands UV rays, water, co2 and other gases and elements are what degrades the BB's.

Be a bit more careful with the BBs sold in tinfoil bags and Black bags. Sounds like those degrade a bit quicker.

Also, leave some out in the sun and the yard so you gain some confidence in the brand you choose. Surprising how long some last...

I have had open bags for at least a year. Bio BBs are very stable in normal conditions.
