OK guys, I'm just throwing this idea around since I like watching youtube vidoes on WW2, mostly the Pacific Theater of WW2.
I know doing a WW2 themed gamed is harder to do than say a Vietnam sim, which we did with allot of fun a while ago, however with more new WW2 rifle's and equipment coming out, I wanted to see how everyone of the club felt about doing a WW2 sim? Since the panther's field during the summer is like a jungle,it would be perfect for a Pacific Theater style game. You could have the U.S. Army , U.S. Marines, Australian Army, Canadian Army and of course the Japanese Forces and German forces as well.

With more WW2 style guns coming down in price and gear options looking better, I thought to see if there is some interest out there. I am working on a Canadian WW2 load out with a MK2 Sten gun (AGM brand) and looking at a KingArms Thompson in future. The ICS M1 Garand is coming out as well as G@G version as well along with others.
However I do know that not everyone wishes to go out and buy more guns or do not have the budgets, so we could make mods to the rules for any future event so say if you have a M14, we could say it's a M1 just keep it in semi to reflect the use of a M1. At the time of this writing, I do not know how the new ICS M1's work?
I know there is allot for German WW2 weapons on the market, but not allot for say for Japanese army in Airsoft as of yet.

There's allot to think about when it comes to a WW2 scenario either the Pacific or a European Theater so it's food for thought. Would be cool to do a milsim based on a WW2 scenario but is yet to be seen.

Cheers

I have a 1943 US Army Pacific kit so I'm down.

EDIT: For Japanese soldiers... you can enforce beige/tan/khaki solids for uniform. For weapons it'll be a bit trickier since they're pretty much entirely armed with bolt actions except for small numbers of SMG's and some LMG's for support.

Full auto/mag caps are your biggest hurdles for any WWII games I think.
