As you may know, MilSig.ca has been working on the Panther field since they assumed responsibility for running it.

Up to now, MilSIG has changed the following:
  • paved the entrance driveway and travel lane around parking lot
  • demolished the shed choking the driveway
  • removed all debris from inside the chrono shelter
  • removed debris throughout the fields
  • assembled a field of spools between Crack Shack and Town
  • improved the entrances to the field from the assembly area
  • replaced the single-user restrooms in the barn with separate, multi-stall men's and women's restrooms (men get mirror, sink, urinals, toilet stalls, tiled floor, coat hooks, and towel dispenser-- similar fixes in women's)

Update:

  • Demolished old "City"
  • Started building 8ft x 8ft and 8ft x 16ft simple structures, with painted panels
  • Set out the first several structures, including a "Starbucks" and a "McDonalds", in the City area
  • Started improving safety curtain poles
  • Tested out a Bouncy Castle by the Speedball Field

Interesting to say the least!

I wish I could afford to enjoy it ;)

The bouncy castle?

Yeah, the plan for the area covered by the new "city" spans from near Crackshack to the barn. The staff are expecting to rearrange the structures into streets and alleys as they finish more. These are light walled structures like those we imagined back in 2010.

Perhaps we can play in the new year...
