Panther Field now provides several brands of BB's in their shop and at the field: KSC, Tamashi (milsig), Action Army (Trigger), and BB Bastard. Panther will soon start renting AEG's, too.
Panther has requested that players at the field needing rentals or ammunition rent and purchase from them. Panther has also indicated that they will not tolerate (EDIT prefer that) business transactions relating to airsoft BB's and rentals in their parking area.

Jsae i now that is not your post but the last sentance in the above post really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Chris at Panther must not know what side his bread is buttered on

Every year through out the winter months the airsoft community has continually come out to play and support him by bringing income in that he does not get with the paintball crowd during these months. He now is dictating to the airsoft community that he will not tolerate any sales in his parking lot that will compete with his sales. Any idea who is going to in force this new mandate that sounds like it was made by greed

I'm kinda sensing the "paintball" mentality behind that. What I mean by that is that from my experiance, most paintball fields only allow you to use their paintballs which of course they sell at a jacked up price. This isnt gonna sit well with most people. I know Chris is a good guy, and maybe some admins should sit down and talk with him. Plus alot of us already have a BB dealer that we like to go to (for example us SGB guys buy from claymore). And with the rentals, It's always been club members helping club members out. I mean what if someone's primary goes down, am I not aloud to say "Hey, grab my SCAR out of my truck and use it for the day"? I apprecieate Chris and Panther starting to embrace the airsoft community more openly now, but butting in and setting up strict guidelines that penalize the average player trying to help a guy out and make a buck or two isn't really the best way to do so. Again, I just think Chris and some admins need to have a friendly talk and bring up these concerns.
That's just my opinion

I am pretty sure that my writing shows that Panther is comfortable with players bringing their own BBs and rented guns.
That is, if you come to the field with an AEG and BBs, you can just use them.
Panther has only requested that if you need to buy or rent something when you arrive, that you get it from them. Yet, as they are the landholder, they have every right to limit the transactions within their property limits. Perhaps I should have softened the wording. I picked the wording, and it may be too stiff: Panther is particularly concerned with the registered businesses they compete with.
I'm not sure what the threshold for requiring business licencing is in Surrey, though....

What are they charging for a bag of bbs? Because if it is at a competitive price then that is fair and well within their right and in the spirit of fair business practices. If they are however jacking up the price due to this rule (that it is their land and they withhold the right to limit what sort of transactions happen on their property) then I forsee alot of people just meeting up before games and making such transactions off panther property. Also what sort of situations do they frown upon for rentals of airsoft rifles/pistols? For example, if 2 players contact each other before a scheduled game day and decide that that they will finish the transaction on the field (i.e. the item and the money swap hands), is that frowned upon or aloud? Also what about a situation where someones primary goes down during a game day and a player offers the effected player a rifle for the day (whether it be for free or for a fee), does panther frown upon this because it can be considered someone taking business from them?

How's this going to work for the club, just like the paintball groups that walk right into our games and we have to leave the field area for them: posted by Panther!
Rental Groups
We will also be running small (12 or more) groups of private airsoft players on our rental fields directly under Panther's supervision. Basically the same as our paintball rentals with a private ref for each group.

what about safety briefings and age requirements? is this going to be the same as ref paintball games with 10 y.o. running around with M4`s?
