Do you want some interesting regular-day games this month ?

What you do think about another try for Engineer Salvage or Satchel Charge?
  • Engineer Salvage - Flight LM2014 was carrying two MODULES and two ENGINEERS when radar stations lost it over Area Copperhead. Team VAMPIRE dispatched to locate and retrieve the ENGINEERS and MODULES. Elements of Team BANSHEE are already searching the suspected landing sites for the ENGINEERS and MODULES.
  • Satchel Charge Attack - Team PHOENIX has a set up a satellite relay at site NOVEMBER. Team DEMON must take the SATCHEL CHARGE and make sure it destroys the satellite relay.

Or perhaps a 2 hour scenario based on No 5 Kommando in Stanleyville (new concept)?

Or:
  1. Marshall Outpost (essentially a "flag push") - http://lowermainlandairsoft.ca/forum/vi ... =14&t=1515
  2. Satchel Charge Attack - http://lowermainlandairsoft.ca/forum/vi ... =14&t=1516
  3. Fighting Patrol - http://lowermainlandairsoft.ca/forum/vi ... =14&t=1539
  4. Engineer Salvage - http://www.lowermainlandairsoft.ca/info ... _Retrieval
  5. Hunter-Killer Variation - http://lowermainlandairsoft.ca/forum/vi ... f=14&t=626

Jes, I like your enthusiasm and would appreciate an organized game, but as I and others have posted, who will run it? and who is going to play in it?

no one is signing up anymore and the enthusiasm is almost non existent, some are trying to rally up players but it is all being done on web sites and face book!!!

example...tomorrow is going to be a nice day, but the only thing on the slate is drop in! out of how many hundred airsofters out there and god knows how many countless teams there are now? the community is withdrawn and content to just show up when ever. other words no respect, no commitment anymore, just talkers.

The only thing you can do is just post it and wait, like I said I did this back in Feb/March but no more.

That satchel charge game looks fun. I'd be into a round of that next time I'm off shift (in a couple of weeks).

Yes, me. Just like I did in January.

I can't come out for this first weekend, but if LMAG are good with my proposal I'll get TJ and Adrian to post up a day in April based on the response here. Some of the guys out in January told me they would like to try the Engineer scenario again, at least.

For the Congo one, I only just read an overview of No 5 Kommando the other day in Strategy and Tactics. I still need to figure out how to convert the scenario highlights for an airsoft game.

I was hoping that more than just Cookoff, TJ, Adrian, Elliot and me would host regular days. But I see that Jukebox has another sim coming up, despite his group not hosting basic days.

If my fellows in LMAG like me offering the scenarios, I'll be the one out there. Hopefully, I have designed the games well enough that I can play in them while running them.

The Satchel Charge game is a short game that we can flip "ends" on and run twice. It can be good but the attackers really need to coordinate.

Forgive my double here, but I was hoping that I would be one of many game designers. But I could always bring the old LMAG-OpFor game book out every week I can attend and just offer one of those.

I wouldn't want to hog the spotlight.

Hog away Jes!! you have no one else offering anyway so no one can say a word unless they are willing to step up

Besides the Sim based games every 5-7 weeks!! its all drop in, all the time.

post... post.... post. that's the only way you will be able to gauge the interest.

Hey Guys,

Keep pushing ahead and keep the conversation going.

I my opinion people are starting to get tired of the low level of play and are looking for more organized play. :D

can't totally disagree with ya Claymore since I may not be talking to the same people as you....but I don't see the interest in organized games much right now? I do see over 100 on a typical Sunday like yesterday with not hint of wanting anything different but 15-20 in run and gun, there were a couple small teams off doing their own thing at the same time but they were just goofin around in dunes playing the same style as the drop ins!

maybe when the consistent warm weather is here and everyone starts to come out of the woodwork, there might be a chance to get a foot hold in some weekly organized games like we used to, but with the community we have at the moment, they are happy to show up, drop in for a couple three games then BS in the lot and header home. you need a core group of 10-15 players that will come out rain or shine then build from there....those 10-15 are the issue since what? last summer! commitment is the key.

Roger all that.

I'll post for this weekend with the same two scenarios from January 2015.
