So first time I have ordered from HobbyKing, prices are crazy cheap for airsoft batteries but, they seem to send parcels by horse drawn cart and carrier pigeon! I placed my order back on the 8th of July and still not arrived, put in a dispute couple days ago with no reply yet! anyone else have this kind of issue with them?

yes, I had the exact same thing. Apparently they do state when your making your purchuse that it can take anywhere up to 49 days? (dont quote me on that, but i think its correct) I believe my last 2 batteries took just under that time frame.

However, I've also ordered batteries and they arrived within a couple weeks. But that was way earlier this year. I seem to recall hearing that batteries are becoming few and far between getting shipped via airmail. Who knows if thats true though, could be part of the issue.

I did receieve my batteries, and it was worth the wait IMO. Their customer service is mediocre, but friendly when dealing with the online chat funtion. I think Gunny has ordered there a few times, hopefully he sees this and pipes up. Next time I do an order, if its worth it, ill opt for the faster shipping service for sure.

i ordered a few lipo from them last year and it took 2 months to arrive, hobbyking posted it awhile ago on there website that hongkong post are having problems shipping out lipo base product and are refusing them, hence hobbyking is using fiji post in which case parcels are sent from hk to fiji to canada as in my case.

Hobbyking ships from Hong Kong, lipo batteries can no longer be transported by air, which means it's coming by cargo ship and possibly several trains. A month and a half to two months is what I'd expect for any lipos from Asia.

I guess more patience needed lol.

Too bad the local stores couldn't even meet half way on lipo's? $18-$20 would be fine for a 11.1x1200 but $30-$35!! forget it. $8-$10 through Hobby king is hard to beat even if you have to wait a couple months I guess.

Okay okay A few of you guys are twisting my arms if you need lipo batteries I can get them for about the price you mentioned their Cook-off $18 to 22 bucks for them 11.1V 1200 mAh 6 to 7 days cost on shipping though is about 20 to 30 bucks that's for 5 to 6 batteries average shipping The shipping it's cheaper as you add more batteries When you average that price out over the price of the shipping. You still save a few bucks

I have done 6+ orders from them. like DT said they no longer air freight them so they do take some time but I have never had any problems with my orders. they are cheap and good batteries for the price. are there better batteries out there? sure, but not for the same price.
