I was reading up on some of the rules for operation ICEBACK. they are plentiful, and I strongly recommend you read them all bit here are a few that stuck out for me.

2.1.3 Approved eye protection must be secured to the head with a retention strap.

Gunny, I think we're gonna need to go full GMR. Thunder Bs, Tornados, Lazers, PTWs, Cocaine, Repelling Harnesses, NODs, some more cocaine, some real EOTechs, a couple more pairs of Merrels, some IR Patches, oh, and cyacaine.

Hmm now I need to make a 420 fps build. They "recommend" using a pistol indoors....

As for the fee, I've seen a few different milsims advertised at higher prices like this. I'm not terribly surprised by the cost, but it is steep. I think it's $20 less if you pay before april, but they haven't even opened up registration yet.

Some thunder b's and cold smokes may be fun for this, you have to call in your smokes when you throw them out and watch them, so they can't cover a retreat that well. I also read some of the rules on the respawn points, you have to carry them to the field and set them up, other team can roll them but they also have rules not to spawn camp... NV goggles would be fun for this...

Last year It was $140 early bird I think and I wouldn't be surprised if it's a little more this year as there is an addition day added on. No Tim Hortons thankfully but forty pizzas where delivered. The final night they gave away four or five AEG's and allot of kit from DS tactical.

That being said if you did enough planning and got lucky on cheap airline flights you could attend a big sim in the US for a couple hundred dollars more.

why are these out of town Sim so expensive...$200-$400ish?? don't they just provide a place to play and give you a game scenario, I am sure all their prises are donated.

If that's the case LMAG Sims at $15-$25 is the biggest steal of the decade!! we could run 24hr Sims at Panther also no problem, I have a couple Sims planned that could easily run all through the night, hell from Friday night to Sunday afternoon.

unfortunately, I see 30-40% of the team players all played out and done after 6-8 hrs looking for the parking lot, lol
