Hey All

Just got back from LA and was able to get to Evike to check out their store front! all I can say for an airsofter it is pretty much eye popping! store was huge.. walls full of guns, shelves full of parts and gear, you need to take a number to see a rep or they have a computer station to place an order and pick up in your turn! also have a range you can try most any gun. I could only spend an hour in there and barely scratched the surface, was an experience!

anyhow just though I would share.

I've visited Evike 2 yrs ago and yes, it makes you WOW as soon as you walk in. I guess that's because we are coming from a place that has a few small retailers :)

I also went to Airsoft Extreme in San DIego and this store has way too many guns. The store must have close to 500 rifles hanging on the walls for sale. They don't even carry many parts and it makes me think that people there just replace their guns every time it breaks because the price was cheap.

I was in Hong Kong in Dec and I went to EhobbyAsia. The store is considerably huge and loaded with stuff. There's just way too much stuff from guns, pistols, gears, parts and all kinds of things about airsoft. They seem to keep new models stuff only too. Ordering online you get instant 5% + whatever extra discount/promotion they have. If you walk in and use a credit card you only get 2% instead of 5% also I had 22 items on my list and I only got 7 items because the rest were out of stock. I guess if you order online it goes directly to their warehouse. There was an old lady at the cashier (probably the owner) and she was very nice and she gave me free stuff (pair of descent gloves, bb loader, patches and candies).

But yeah, I wish we have stores like these in our area ... one that is not OVER PRICED !!!

Ya I had to just sit back and watch for a minute, there had to be 80 customers in the store at that time Friday night at 7pm, and they said that was not their busiest time!!! I counted 10 staff out front and looked like 6 or more working the back, I even saw the two guys that do al their videos but they always had a celebrity crowd around the lol.

if not for my limitations to baggage room I would have got a shit load of stuff, as it was a still managed to drop a couple hundred bucks, one thing I saw that made me laugh out loud was their mega bag of BBs it was the size of a bag of rice!!

it truly is amazing when you can walk into a one stop store and find just about anything you can think of that you need "IN STOCK"!! and cheap! and not just one choice but several.

I did manage to chat with one of the staff for a few minutes, I told him I was from BC and he knew right away about the gun law changes and all the business we give them, he asked what we thought of their store, so I told them amazing BUT slow shipping and high shipping on some orders! he said he understood as they do get a few complaints and would pass on to his manager.

we can only hope Seattle gets bigger into airsoft retail, Airsplat is there now and of smaller scale much like our Canadian retail store (but still have more stock  ) last time I was there they said business was booming so you never know we might start to see bigger store like cabalas size!!

anyways it was worth the long freeway drive to see it (got to thank my wife, when I mentioned it was in LA about 60min drive she said lets go?? )
