I think it just looks cool for urban combat

Other than aesthetic appeal I dont think its really effective.

Even its advertisements are pretty much like "It looks cool"

Yeah, I'm excited for it as well. Crye has told me directly, that they are projecting next fall. I'm just assuming, but very much speculating that tropic and arid are being held back due to continued contract negotiations with the US Armed Forces. This was also a projected release time for their gear. So it may only be available in Crye BDUs to start, or they may sign another gear contract with a company like UR-Tactical or so.

Truspec said late April for their Multicam Tropic BDUs, but that was a couple months back.. will wait to see if that comes true or not.
