sooo....bring them out next game?

It's defiantly not an ideal accessory to keep on ones person, due to obvious reasons, but it would be a nice touch on milsim days. I love the positive posts about it though

Not at LMAG games.
Some people think I am trying to be sneaky, its really that my eyes are not as good and I have to make sure its a tree and not the enemy! Trees do not call hits. I have shot a few.

OK just for discussion sake  they are not meant to disorientate. Just like we don`t use real bullets guys. It just for looks or affects.

Iceman wrote:It might be just because it's a video but to me it doesn't seem to make enough of a flash or bang to disorientate a person.

If we were to use proper ones we would have a bunch of pissed off guys that where on the receiver side. We have some guys that loose it if they get hit by three or more bb`s in one blast from a combatant

But we have rules that will not permit Pyrotechnics Like jsae stated unless they are controlled.

In the end even if we as a club would allow them to be used... The problem is that they would not be allowed to be sold legally in Canada. When was the last time you saw fire crackers for sale, and not on an Indian reserve :?:

I`m working on something that the Pyro`s and Tactical gamers will love. It`s going to be cool.

If you really want stuff like that then why not find a place where you can run games that allow legal pyro's and such. I play airsoft for the shooting. Its much more exciting for me to clear a building with a gun in my hand than throw some smoke in and wait for them to come out choking and spitting so 3 or 4 guys can light them up and piss them off.

Just for part of the interest and conversation not just on this product but...
I love the idea of innovations and realism, but lets just look at the game we play going back say two years or so.

flash bangs, distraction devises, grenades etc. all have there place in the "real" world for sure, re enactments or specialized training they would be a must. but first for safety sake, anything that go's boom, snap crackle or pop has to be deemed safe in a "controlled" situation, again seriously, could you see giving a hand full of those things to a group of noobs nuf said.

we have been using smoke canisters for years now, I could count on one hand how many times they have been used effectively! cool to pop and through but most sit out in the middle of know where with the wind blowing the smoke in the wrong direction :D

people could be trained but when was the last time we saw all players call their hits, wear a kill rag and know what the game rules are! but were still running around shooting at people and these people are training every week for months!

but yes it would be cool to be able to toss a device that was safe, made some noise and presented a definite kill with in a radius when it went off that people had to honor as a kill.
you went FULL RETARD!!

Oh Herro Prease.
I've been around the lower mainland twice, shot everyone once.
No Glock I can't rock
no field fee too high
no drive too far
no SIM too long
no walk to hard
learned a lot of lessons on the field.
lunch is for pussies,
I've heard pistons strip
I seen players slip
I'm a marine I'm a seal, depending on how I feel
never use low quality bb's in a high quality gun
.20's are for chronoing
.12's are for kids
no enemy too far, no gear too queer
I wear more then I have
any gun worth hauling is worth overhauling.
I participate, I operate I don't discriminate,
I'm a rooting tooting bb shooting

You pecker heads can't manage trigger control within MEDs and now you want to bring pyro into it?

When the forums die from lack of conversation, this post will show why. Maybe next time rather then bashing it. A kind, "hey that's kinda cool, but unfortunately not practical in our given situation" would be a little more mature. Did anyone truly think I was serious? I thought my sarcasm one the first post, and second was a dead give away. Come on guys...

We did basically say all that.

Also, sarcasm is a live verbal interaction. In writing your audience will nearly always take it seriously because writing loses your intonation and facial expression.

As far as online conversations go, most players seem to like to read more than comment while on the forum. We also try to get conversations about scenarios, gear, AEG upgrading, AEG knowledge, Questions of the Day, and more.
