Supposedly it can print at a resolution of 0.04 mm. I have yet to test that theory

Pretty good resolution, almost good enough to make your own BBs! Though I'm absolutely certain that would cost you a lot more than just buying them.

The wood 3d printing looks cool, I wonder how some AK furniture would look made this way, definitely unique!

Does it do rubber? or something similar for dummy knifes?

Haha, that was sort of my thought when he said .04... but keep in mind that it's not a tolerance of .1, it's .01. So I'm not certain this would give a better output... Neat idea tho

Hmmm, would depend on the polishing you used. You'd never get it smooth enough to just work right off the machine. See the main problem is you're trying to print a round object on a flat platform. So, you will need some sort of support material to keep it centered and supported while printing, which later has to be removed.

It would then have to undergo some sort of polishing procedure which is where that tolerance thing is introduced.
