Thanks Aaron, it looks very promising. We are going to really need to put a concerted effort in developing the airsoft fields. There is so much potential.

Airsofters finally got to try some action on the "Ferngully" field

I snapped a few pics to show how stealthy it can be

Count the heads in the first pic ( I just got everyone to squat down )


Then I got them to stand up in exactly the same spot - see if you counted right

We played there today, "THE FERN FIELD". Wow that field is awesome,

You all need to come out and check it out, the field of Dreams.

Terrain looks good. Is it in the SE corner of the MRP lands "behind" Town and Jungle?

Wait, is it predominantly sloped everywhere?

The terrain is sloped at times but easy going. Heck Char was moving around out there with half of his lung capacity .
I only got a quick look at the backside of where we where playing. It rolled down and to another plateau of low lying ferns and moss, then tall trees on the perimeter again.

I could not stopping dreaming about it last night.

We had 11 players in that area and it felt like 25. You can stand up and look around then squat down and disappear and pop back up and no one sees you move. Its easy to walk through too. Its freakin amazin!

This field was great! And good work Devil Dogs, 6 on 5 against and we held our own and then some. Thanks to bushman for lugging an extra gun out to the field, walking in with a faulty AK didn't go so well for me, but that stoner destroyed! On the downside (maybe an upside) now I want to buy a LMG...

Hopefully we can get out there at some point and do some construction so that we can have some very recognizable mission objectives, but so far so good, this map rocks.

Well due to Super bowl, mom's birthday (Cannot mess with that!) and running around town (getting mom's birthday present) I couldn't make it out.....
