Olive Drab vs Coyote Brown

Post2014-04-03 / 00:20 UTC GMT +00:00

Im seriously dying over this.

Where I used to play airsoft it had tall brown grass everywhere, so coyote seemed like an obvious choice, but after playing at MRP Im considering OD. Another issue is I could go with a matching rig, but they are quite expensive in comparison.

Oh Herro Prease.
I've been around the lower mainland twice, shot everyone once.
No Glock I can't rock
no field fee too high
no drive too far
no SIM too long
no walk to hard
learned a lot of lessons on the field.
lunch is for pussies,
I've heard pistons strip
I seen players slip
I'm a marine I'm a seal, depending on how I feel
never use low quality bb's in a high quality gun
.20's are for chronoing
.12's are for kids
no enemy too far, no gear too queer
I wear more then I have
any gun worth hauling is worth overhauling.
I participate, I operate I don't discriminate,
I'm a rooting tooting bb shooting

What would you go with, Coyote Brown or Olive Drab gear? :P

Or spend the extra money on matching camo gear.

Coyote Brown goes with any camo. CB works at most fields.

Yep.
LOL
But if it's a fairly normal and accessible pattern and you wear it all the time why not buy the matching kit and gun so you have the extra dynamic of getting to feel what it's like to be "in the boots" of the impression your trying to achieve.
It's not for everyone and it wont make you play airsoft any better or save you money but is an extra fun part of this wacky hobby.

this might be taking this in a bit of a different direction but, most camo works well in its environment, but since we play in seasonal conditions and changing environment you would need more than one set to achieve the perfect "conditional camo"! most guys that have more than one set are in most cases after the theme, collecting or role play etc.
if you are on a budget or only interested in one set, go Olive Drab, but consider a multi cam dark green, tiger stripe, woodland, digital... effective camo is all about disruptive shape, blending, and not one dimensional.

The best cam and concealment is not to move or move as little as possible, if a person don't believe that! wear a gilly suit a walk around, you will be spotted every time. you could wear black sweat pants and a dark green long sleeve tee shirt, get in the shadows use cover properly and you could use your knife on unsuspecting enemy!

sorry, like I said, took it down a different path
you went FULL RETARD!!

Are we talking about your rig or all your camo? I wouldn't wear olive drab or coyote brown head to toe, but I do wear an olive drab rig.

+1 for cook offs idea, movement is one of the biggest thnigs that will give you away, and for good reason, we have more movement sensing cells(rods) in our eyes, that are higher definition and faster than our colour recepting cells(cones).

+1 to Drunken, Most special operatives or standard military personnel have a olive drab or coyote rig but their BDU is camo.
