Cracked gearbox

So as some as you know, I have a cracked gearbox in one of my AEGs, out of curiosity i went and fired a few rounds in semi, then full auto.

Gun still fires the same as the first day I bought it. It seems the hop up holds the gearbox which is near where the crack resides and is holding it from getting worse.

Run it till it dies and get a gearbox ordered soon, or do i hang er up until I get a replacement shell?

Dont run with a cracked gearbox. When it does have a catastrophic failure it will usually destroy your hopup and some internals. Either the piston or gears. Best to just take it out of service and get a new shell.

I agree. don't use it until you get a new gearbox shell.
