RVW: Magpul PDR-C

Post2013-02-22 / 00:47 UTC GMT +00:00

Just got a PDR-C yesterday. Liking it, but finding it a bit of a mixed bag. Dropping 8bbs whenever I change mags is annoying and having to grind my midcaps to make them fit is also a pain in the @$$.

Here's a quick review of it I made last night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21PoFEa7Y2s

Anyone else have one of these? What do you think?

Very good review! Very professionally done and I like the different camera angels that you did. I had a laugh at the beginning of the video, wondering if you we're going to throw the rifle after you threw away the other items in the box!
I have subscribed to your channel.
You should see if you can do more review videos for the local stores since I don't see them doing anything or get a sponsor from one of them while you do a review for them. Just a thought.

cheers

Thats a great review and I agree with airmax about getting a sponser. Keep posting up here as its great for new and old players alike.

ps I have a riser with an eotech on my full stock m4 and it looks sweet and would look good on the pdr-c as well as its not quite as high as the carrier handle.

Good job nice review. The only thing the Sp100 spring went in backwards by the looks of it  .

Hope to see on the field soon.

Shoot you later, ;)

@Airmax: Thanks for the sub :). A Chinese company sent me a helmet cam to review a few weeks ago but I'm so busy with work right now I haven't had time. When I get some time I think asking some local stores would be a great idea.

@Deep6: I was going to use a riser but I gave most of my parts away when I left Korea, I have a short one on order so I can use some of the rail space on top. I should have just brought my parts box back with me :S

@Claymore: I might have put it in backwards, I'll have a look at it again and see. I filmed it at night after working 13 hours and I was pretty zonked.

I actually like the look of the m4 carrying handle on that gun. I'd probally steal that idea if I were to get one.
Primary: SR10 400fps, M4 395fps, M14 410fps, AK 330fps
Secondary: USP Tac 350fps, MK23 Socom 326fps, MP9 325fps
Camo: Marpat
