MOD: P90 selector switch

Post2014-01-09 / 01:48 UTC GMT +00:00

the selector switch on my classic army P90 is stuck on full auto. what i mean by that is the safety works, but both the full auto AND semi-auto settings make the gun shoot on full auto. any suggestions on what is wrong?

I just finished dealing with this on v2 gearbox, it was a combination of worn out spring on the tappet plate and cut off lever inside the gearbox. I know p90s are a different version, so I hope this gives you somewhere to start looking. YouTube is your best friend if your going to try and fix it yourself.

i have a clasic army p90 myself and had this problem twice with different solutions... first time it was the cut off leaver, the stock CA one was too soft and wore on the sector gear real fast... the second time was my own fault for putting a 11.1 lipo in it and semi did nothing, the p90 actually has 2 contact switches in it. the first is for semi and can get kicked off by the cut off leaver( i melted this one) the second is a flat contact pad for full-auto

my first guess would be the cut-off leaver
