Hello from Chilliwack

Just throwing a "Hello" to everyone around town who is into airsoft.
I'm VERY new to the sport, so new I have 0 gear or guns and am in the researching stage at the moment.
If anyone has any advice on which gun to start off with. I would like something like a nice railed M4 or SOCOM M14 to match the real thing in the safe at home here.
Hope to be having some great times with you all in the coming year.

Always good to get the low down on how things work.
Going to be doing some digging and see what I can pick up. Will take a while to get into it but I'm sure I will enjoy it.

Looking at picking up a nice HK416 AEG and debating the pistol to pick up but hopefully by Jan I will have the gear I require then I just need someone to show me the ropes and then I'm good to go.

Yeah, get out ASAP!!! I live in Kamloops, so I barely get down. So believe me when I say that you should take advantage of all the great fields and experienced, friendly, and helpful people LMAG has to offer.

GREETINGS. I highly recommend renting a gun for a game day or two before purchasing anything. I have seen too many players drop hundreds or thousandths of dollars to realize that Airsoft is just not for them. Even though I do enjoy more meat in the grinder.

Come on out for half a day bring a camera tag along with a unit take notes snap pictures of the gear and guns that you see first hand. Most guys are proud of there guns and gear and are willing to show you what they have done to customize their guns gear.

Yeah, I do photography so perhaps I will come on out and get some action pics of you all playing. I just dont want to get in the way.
Only reason why I want to wait till JAn is because I have a baby due to arrive in Jan and I just want to make sure things are settled in at home before I step out to get shot by you all!

Well congrats on the baby.
