Shooting events will be separate from the actual game and yes you can change weapons

I was asked if just "in" on here constitutes pre sale of tickets...well yes and no
if you say "in' on here okay pre sale price applies,....my question is how do I know who you are, no real names here?

when you fill out your waiver at the top put your nick and I will honor presale signup for you

I didn't realize there was an actual sign up! I'm sure it was posted somewhere and i completely missed it...if I should still do that I can, if not....

A team of made up mostly of new players started out a little rough, tried hard to come back in the afternoon.

Priceless moments:
  • getting ambushed by shotgun followed quickly by getting an AEG full auto-ing when dead
  • Ref in charge of inserting Red team got lost taking the team to the start
  • trying to herd 60 deaf cats with 5 experienced players and not enough radio operators
  • hearing a grown man yell out "YOU'RE HIT! I HIT YOU! YOU'RE HIT" every time, but so quickly the other guys never had time to get their kill rag out

Well what can I say?
Lots!
First off,
Panther for diving in head first into this event, shutting down all paintball to do Airsoft (even turned paintball drop-ins away).

Thanks to all the retailers who could be there, what great set up's you all had.
Shows how far Airsoft has come and is still growing in leaps and bounds.
Next prizes: I was amazed, to all that put up so many and such quality!
Rock solid.

There is no need for me to gloat, my team did all the work and work they did!
Go blue ;)

It was so nice to finally get back in the field, even nicer to see a few friendly faces, hope to play with you all again soon. favrote part of the day was watching people having melt downs about getting shot when there hit but they dont have a kill rag ... priceless. big thanks to panther and also to our team leader Z for giving us a direction to shoot in.

After 12 years of not playing it was great to great back in the game. I was red team and one of only a handful with a radio.
I thought my rust would have made me as dull as a noob. Not quite as much as I thought. Looking to play some more and hopefully sweat a little less as the temperatures begin to drop. Thankfully and thanks to a small group of more experienced players that I met I had a great time in the second half... and better near the end of the second half.

Some highlights were:
-Red team ref that gave us a tour of all 57 acres while the blue team was ready and itching to go
-the guy yelling "you're hit! you're hit!!!".
- During the second half I lent a hand at organizing the red team into... a team... (with very minor success) while re-learning proper radio protocol.
-Getting shot at in full auto as I walked with a red rag on my head to the spawning area.
-Getting hit by friendly fire in the back of the head within 1 minute of spawning.
-Hearing about a guy walking into the parking lot at lunch, tearing his red ribbon off... heading back to admin saying "I lost my blue ribbon"... and getting one.
-The small squad I was with at the end that wasn't noobed out.
-Watching a young "couple in love" that were in my squad go waltzing away together (almost literally) after I told them to split up because they were an easy target hiding behind the same tree.
"I pretty much try to stay in a constant state of confusion just because of the expression it leaves on my face."

first game back in a long time .. !

We won .. i mean my team won .. since i spent all my first day back running around the full size of the field . got ambushed and shot a few times .. Red team sure knew how to just sit in one place and wait .. son's of B&^tches . I have no confirmed kills since the few people i saw and shot at all day i either missed them A LOT or they simply didn't call it and run away . none the less it feels good to be back .

A few pointers .. i know Lmag had nothing to do with the way the show has been ran . but in the future i think that we are running the game or not we should have our say on at least the safety part of it for our own safety and the well been of our beloved sport .

Good to be back EVERYONE !

OH and I'm the fastest sharpest pistol shooter out there . try to take my title ;) I <3 my new pistol !

I feel obligated to post in regards to the event even though I did not attend.

We don't show up to other clubs events and tell them how to run things , we have no right to do so at panthers events.
With that out of the way , It was panthers first airsoft event. Things are not going to go according to plan , there is always something that goes wrong. Lmag has over 15 years of trial and error to draw from. Having been involved in the first few BCAC events at panther I can say they had their issues aswell.
With each event we have run they gotten better. I fully expect panther's staff to draw from problems that arose and improve on it for the next.
I would like to thank Chris and Panther for putting on the event and shutting the field down for airsofter's only.
